“The next right thing.”
Revisiting this story made me reflect on how much my ideas about success and growth have changed over the years.
I've done this nerd fitness thing for 15+ years.
Millions of people visit the site every year, 50,000+ customers have purchased items through NF, and our trainers have served 15,000+ 1-to-1 customers.
In that time, I've slightly changed my perspective on “success” and “living well.”
I used to think that the only way to success required armed discipline, following a specific plan. I've never missed a single workout, and I'm incredibly proud of that.
How much a .Unique and simple life. It's where I live where I control 100% of my time.

Now that I am 40 years old, I have seen the people we call Really With the help of Nerd Fitness, I changed my perspective on success and “living well” in an amazing way.
Success doesn't come when we learn how to do everything right, but when we get better at staying afloat when things go wrong.
In other words, success is learning to be consistent. Learning to be enough for a long time.
And that means narrowing our focus to “the next right thing” when life seems chaotic.
A .Latest newspaper. From author Oliver Berkman, he talks about how he was chosen to maintain a small mind in a fantastical world.
It led me to these sentences from author Eckert Tolle:
“What you call “your life” should be called “the state of your life”. It is psychological time: the past and the future.
…forget about your life situation for a while and focus on your life.
Look for the “narrow gate that leads to life.” It is called now.
Wash your life up to this point. Your life situation may be full of problems – most life situations are – but know that you have no problems at this time. Not tomorrow or in ten minutes, but now.
You have a problem right now?
When we talk about what has happened, we worry about all the things that might happen or need to happen in the future.
It's easy to feel out of control and overwhelmed.
Which brings us back to that clichéd solution of “the next right thing.”
It's a cliché simply because it's true.
We can increase our WiFi and narrow our focus to what is still within our control. In some cases, Yes, now there is a problem. And we can only focus on that one thing.
But in many other situations, it's worrying about potential problems or problems outside of our control that keep us from taking action on things we can control.
Burkman continued:
As for telling myself, I just have to do the next thing… you can always only do the very next thing, and then the next thing, whether you like it or not.
It's a little strange to refer to any of these techniques as “thought narrowing,” as if they involve limiting yourself in some way.
In fact, you always knew how limited you were.
We all know how easy it is for us .Overcomplicated things..
And when the world feels like a wildfire, it helps to focus on the next decision, the smallest goal, and the next right thing.
It may include exercising or going for a walk, focusing on your next meal, calling our therapist, or .Finally saying no. to commitment.
If the only time available is “now,” all we can really do is “the next right thing.”
I'm going to do the next right thing for you: go for a walk.
