There was finally something positive for Manchester City fans to shout about as they ended their seven game winless run with a comfortable 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Kevin De Bruyne was the star of the show as the Belgian, back in the starting line-up for the first time in more than two months, bagged a goal and an assist at the Etihad.
Bernardo Silva and Jeremy Doku also scored to take City back into the top four, although there were further injury difficulties as defender Nathan Ake was forced off late on.
There were goals aplenty at St James' Park as Newcastle and Liverpool played out a thrilling 3-3 draw.
Newcastle twice led through Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon, but both times Liverpool hit back courtesy of Curtis Jones and Mohamed Salah.

Jurien Timber and William Saliba scored second-half goals for the Gunners to hand new United manager Ruben Amorim his first defeat.

Elsewhere, Everton ran riot at home to Wolves, recording an impressive 4-0 win to climb two places to 15th.
Ashley Young scored the 50th goal of his long Premier League career before Orel Mangala doubled the lead.
Craig Dawson then found the back of his own net twice to add to Wolves' misery and give Shaun Dyche's side a vital three points.
Aston Villa returned to winning ways with a 3-1 win against Brentford at Villa Park.
The hosts raced into a three-goal lead through Morgan Rodgers, an Ollie Watkins penalty and Matty Cash before Mikel Damsgaard pulled one back after the break.
