Fresh off his extensive 330-show “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour, John presented two major musicals; “Tammy Faye” on Broadway and “The Devil Wears Prada” in London.
During the latter's West End debut on Sunday, the 77-year-old gave an emotional speech about his inability to watch the show due to deteriorating eyesight. Afterwards, her husband, David Furnish, 62, attended offstage.

The singer continued to express gratitude for the care he received, saying: “I am very grateful for the excellent team of doctors and nurses and my family, who have taken such good care of me in the last few weeks” .
John concluded his message on a hopeful note, sharing how he “spent the summer quietly recuperating at home” and is “feeling positive about the progress” he's made in his recovery and recovery.
